Excursion by sea: - via Harbour Cruise Boat and via Purpose Built Underwater Safari Cruise Boat.

The Safari boat has a specially designed keel which allows passengers to sit in comfort and view the underwater marine environment in air-conditioned comfort. The ship's marine guide will provide information and explain the significance and importance of the varied marine life encountered.

Captain Morgan cruise boats have: full toilet facilities for your convenience, safety equipment, medical necessities (first aid) and are properly licenced and insured as cruise boats in accordance of local regulations for your security and peace of mind.

Please note: pick up arrangements are not provided for the The Underwater Safari. Therefore, it is necessary to make your own way to Bugibba Harbour (next to Bogna Beach) in ample time, prior to departure of Underwater Safari boat.

The underwater safari excursion offers a unique way of seeing what lies beneath the clearest waters of the Mediterranean, renowned for amazing sea life.

The Underwater Safari boat has an observation keel which is located below sea level. The specially designed keel has large rectangular windows for maximum viewing experience, the keel is air-conditioned and allows passengers to sit in comfort and view the underwater marine environment. The observation keel offers breathtaking sights of various marine life such as multi hued algae, the occasional octopus and diverse species of fish all in one educational and exciting excursion. A fish feeding program is also maintained as an added experience and its our way of showing our appreciation towards our splendid marine life for sharing the sea with us.

The ship's marine guide will provide information and explain the significance and importance of the varied marine life encountered. This safari is a most enjoyable and educational cruise for all.

The Mediterranean Maltese coast is popular with deep sea divers searching for sunken cargo and ship wrecks, from World War II and much earlier, with legendary hulks awaiting discovery. It is told that St.Paul was shipwrecked in AD.60 near to St. Paul's Bay which was consequently named in his honour. Whilst on the Underwater Safari cruise you will encounter an array of marine life (ship-wreck encounters not planned).
